Chain link fencing is a kind of mesh with inter-locking metal or coated wire which creates a diamond like pattern. This type of fence is the most commonly used fence and are used in both residential and commercial applications.
In this blog, we will understand the journey of producing this fence right from raw materials stage to the final product – ready to be shipped!
Stage 1 – Raw Materials
Galvanized Steel Wire is a primary component that gets used in the process of manufacturing Chain Link Fencing. After thorough checking of quality and size, each roll is fed into the production line. If required, these Galvanized Steel Wire can be coated with PVC and used further.
Stage 2 – Processing of Wire
Master coils of steel or coated wire are fed into feeding systems which later input wire into the production line.
Stage 3 – Weaving
Once the wire is fed into the system, the machine will create diamond shaped pattern based on the size chosen, for example 50mm opening. In this stage, precision is required to ensure that each link is produced in identical pattern without any defects to ensure overall quality is maintained.
This process continuous in an autonomous fashion until the entire mesh roll has been produced as per pre-decided width and length.
Once done, individual roll is removed from the production line and sent to the packaging division for the next step.
Stage 4 – Packaging
Finished roll is weighed, measured and carefully checked for any defects. If not, then each roll is packed with tie wires and its ends are secured with recycled bags.
Stage 5 – Quality Control
This is the last stage before the goods finally move to warehousing. In this stage, each roll is once again checked thoroughly for its size – length and width, appearance and strength. Following this, size labels or stickers are put in each roll and marked for future reference and customer identification.
Stage 6 – Warehousing
Finished products are now moved to our state of the art warehouse where they are stored as per size and are shipped to customers upon order.
